An employee of the city of Santa Paula was arrested for driving under the influence after being involved in a small accident.  According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department the employee was driving a city-owned vehicle when the incident occurred.  According to witnesses the driver struck a pole in the parking lot of a grocery store.  The damage was minor but the city employee now faces DUI charges.

A DUI with accident has serious repercussions.  You will usually be required to make restitution on the case if there was damage done to another vehicle, city or state property.  If you are driving a vehicle owned by your company you could face a job suspension or even dismissal.  No matter what the circumstances of your Ventura DUI you need to call a qualified team of drunk driving defense attorneys.
