A Gilroy high school track and field coach was arrested for driving under the influence during a school athletic field trip.
According to Gilroy Dispatch, 37 year old Alvin Harrison was driving a van when he collided with another vehicle on Highway 73 in the evening. The two-time Olympic gold medalist has been charged with
driving under the influence causing bodily injury and driving with a suspended license.
Harrison is being held on a $50,000 bail at an Orange County jail and awaiting an April 19
th court appearance.
