East Long Beach will be seeing a DUI check point on Saturday, January 22nd. According to the
Long Beach Post, the Long Beach Police Department will be conducting driver license and
driving under the influence checkpoint from 6pm until 2am.
Officers will be making sure that the public is safe by identifying offenders and getting them off the streets. These DUI checkpoints are designed to reduce the number of persons killed or injured in alcohol involved collision.
During a DUI checkpoint, officers are trained to conduct field sobriety tests. If you were arrested during a DUI checkpoint, contact a California DUI Defense Attorney today to find out how your case can be reduced.
