A single auto accident has resulted in a driving under the influence arrest of a 38-year-old McKinleyville woman.
According to the Times Standard, Robin Lynn Anderson was driving her 1992 Isuzu Rodeo around 9:24 northbound on Highway 101, south of Arcata, when she lost control. The vehicle flipped across the center divider and all southbound lanes.
Anderson was trapped inside the vehicle for over 20 minutes until the fire department was able to get her out.
Officers then arrested Anderson on suspicion of having a high level of intoxication at the time of the accident but due to her moderate injuries, she was released to the local hospital for treatment.
