This weekend, arresting officers will be conducting multiple DUI checkpoints throughout California, some of which have been previously announced. During these
DUI sobriety checkpoints, officers look for signs of intoxication such as blurred or watery eyes, slurred speech or even the scent of alcohol.
Once officers do notice these signs, they will ask the motorist to perform a
DUI field sobriety test as well as a breathalyzer test.
These DUI checkpoints are designed to protect the public from motorist who are driving under the influence.
If you have been arrested during a DUI sobriety checkpoint, contact our
