Shelly Corinne Davis was arrested after leading officers on a high speed chase from Ripon to Stockton as she had a warrant out for a previous driving under the influence charge.
The 48 year old Sacramento woman was driving a 1999 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck near Colony Road and Highway 99 on ramp when officers tried to pull her over for registration and mechanical violations. The Modbee states that Davis failed to make the stop and instead, took off at speeds of more than 100 mph; Davis was finally stopped when officers used a spike strip.
Officers state that Davis fled due to the fact that she was
driving with a suspended license and had a warrant out for her arrest.
