A hit-and-run San Diego man has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early Friday morning.
According to Sign on San Diego, the Spring Valley man was driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on Jamacha Road when he ran a red light and broadsided a 2001 Lincoln Navigator. The SUV's female driver was taken to a local hospital with head injuries.
Jose Espinoza, the 21-year-old driver of the pickup, fled from the scene however officers were able to locate him 20 minutes following the crash.
Espinoza was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run, causing an injury and
driving under the influence.
