Local police departments will be conducting DUI/drivers license checkpoints throughout California. Starting today, Friday March 11 th and going on through Sunday, officers at these checkpoints will be looking for
signs of intoxication such as bloodshot or watery eyes or even the smell of alcohol. If officers suspect that a driver has been drinking, they will ask the motorist to conduct a
DUI field sobriety test.
